I'm posting this on behalf of HanFauxLo just because I'm so impressed with the beginning of his story already.

A/N: This just happens to be stories that my Father has told me over the years when he was in the U.S. Army. And since I figured that TB&FT wasn't getting anywhere, I decided to scrap it and do something different... So, I hope that you enjoy the second attempt and please feel free to comment and ask questions... and once again.. S.M. owns Twilight.. and my Dragons are watching closely...

Chapter One:  Highway To Hell

The bus ride from the M.E.P.S center, or  the Military Enlistment Processing Station, was torture.  There was at least forty of us on this bus and the heat was unbearable. The windows on this one way ticket to damnation didn't come all the way down, and what windows that were open, barely gave any relief from the pain that I left behind back in Fayetteville .When Uncle Sam caught wind of my eighteenth birthday, he didn't send me a birthday card with happy wishes and money like my relatives have done in the past. He sent me something that I dreaded for the longest time.

It was my draft papers saying that I had to report for basic training at Fort Bragg. 

My mother Esme', and my two sisters, Alice and Rosalie cried when I told them the news after I walked back in the house from getting the mail. The war in Vietnam was just starting, and from the get go, everyone knew that it was pointless to be over there. Seeing as we've been the world's police for the longest time, our military has been sent everywhere. Uncle Sam likes to flex his muscles and show his strength. And we've always have been somewhat victorious.

But this was different, and being just a hay-seed farm-boy from the boondocks, and baptized in the backwoods,  I was about to see the world with virgin eyes. If I knew what I was about to see, I would have plucked out my eyes and say that I lost my eyesight due to a farming accident.

But knowing my damn luck, they would have sent me anyways.

Introducing, HanFauxLo

To whom it may concern,
Where do I begin? I wasn't really into the Twilight thing up until three years ago. I never quite understood the thing between Team Edward and Team Jacob until five months ago when I met ThatPanicGirlE, who brought me into the light known as Twilight.

Three months I started my first fan fic, "Turn Buckles and Fallen Tears" which I've had a lot of experience with. I don't know what it's like to be on the road 362 days a year, but from my brother who is a wrestler, I've seen what it's like to love what you do.

I come from a military background with my father being in the Army for 25 years. I've had a lot of discipline in my life but I adore my family with all my heart. When I first moved to Dtown, I had no idea what I'd gotten into, but meeting ThatPanicGirlE was the best thing that has ever happened to me and she has been nothing short of an inspiration and a miracle to me. I love her with all my heart. I'm sorry, I got a little mushy. I'll get back on track.

First and foremost I want to thank ThatPanicGirlE for inspiring me to write "TBFT" which will have more to come after I finish Chapter 6.

I want to thank Poochi_Mama (aka JenniP), along with ThatPanicGirlE who came up with the name, HanFauxLo. I would also like for the rest of the team and let them know that I will do you proud and try to uphold to the name Team Fire and Ice.

By the way, I'm Team Edward (But Emmett is a close second... GO GATORS!).

And for the rest of the fan fiction community, may you have champagne wishes and caviar dreams.

A big HUGE welcome to our new member, Mr. HanFauxLo

Five months ago I was graced with the presence of a life changer. No, it wasn't Edward, but he is definitely MY Edward. Well more of my tattooward. He's done something no other man (other than Mr. Poochi) has done for their girlfriends and/or wives.

He's read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn back to back and I'm so proud of him. The most amazing thing that he's done though? He started writing his very own Fan Fiction and that in itself could not be overlooked.

He even went a step further and has even written lemons, something I wasn't even comfortable doing until my third or fourth story.

So here's to our newest member of Team Fire and Ice. It will be interesting to hear a guy's perspective of fan fiction for once.
